Scope and Contents
Marked as Volume 110. Consists of three documents of the written submission of the Union of India. The first concerns a note of the Narmada Water Dispute Tribunal Award, the Sardar Sarovar project and the authorities. Annexures include index map of the Sardar Sarovar project, Maheshwar, Omkareshwar, Indira Sagar; the site plan of the SSP; salient levels of the Sardar Sarovar Dam; Narmada canal, Rajasthan. The second is a note on environmental issues, along with the composition and functions of the environment sub-group of the Narmada Control Authority (NCA); meeting details of the enivronmental sub-group and status report of enivornmental safeguard measures in Annexure-1. The third document consists of notes regarding resettlement and rehabilitation. Annexures (to be located) include minutes of the 43rd meeting of the NCA R&R sub-group; 17th, 18th and 19th Field visit reports of the Rehabilitation committee with the compliance of the governments of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
