Scope and Contents
To Page, Assistant Director, European Space Research Organization; the first letter from Sastry outlines difficulties in completing a series of rocket flights scheduled for the year and mentions that he has declined the offer to take up a position at the European Space Research and Technology Center; it also references a letter written by Sarabhai to ESRO regarding future use of the fellowship. The second letter consists of a response from Page regarding the unavailability of the fellowship. The letter on 17th May is to E. V. Chitnis, with a copy to Sastry, explaining the financial reasons behind the withdrawal of Sastry's fellowship, and references a possibility of a fellowship in the following year.
