Series 2: Design of the campus

The documents related to design of NCBS give wonderful insights into the design elements of the institute and the execution of the designs. They throw light on how the institute was designed, who were the people involved in designing the place and supervising the execution of the drawings. The documents contain floor maps of the architectural layouts of the designs, regular updates on the civil construction undertaken to build the institute but it also contains rich correspondence between different people involved in design and execution of the project.
