Affidavit on behalf of the state of Madhya Pradesh pursuant to the Supreme Court's order dated 9 May, 2000, pertaining to resettlement and rehabilitation of project-affected families at various heights. Annexures include details of relocation sites, villagewise states of R&R of PAFs and those to be resettled in Madhya Pradesh at various estimated levels; site plans of relocation sites; illustrative copt of notice with offer of land given to PAFs and refusal of offer of land by PAFs; reports of Field Director who it is contended was not allowed to conduct survey by the Narmada Bachao Andolan; and details of R&R of M.P. oustees in Gujarat and refusal to allott land by the government of Gujarat.
