Scope and Contents
Fifth file of volume marked 69. This record consists of a key to various documents, dated 1958-1995, submitted on the record from the petitioners, as well as copies of the documents thereof. Folder V contains pages pages 250 to 306. These documents take the form of reports and notes. They pertain to the Bhuriya Committee, the report of the Archaelogical Committee of India (ASI), the Narmada Control Authority ESG; notes on the area in Kutch / Saurashtra, command area measures, developments pertaining to Project-affected persons and R&R, including at Dasana and Kangam; site abandoment at Kavitha, Miyagam; allegations against the Narmada Bachao Andolan; incomplete environmental studies and lastly, Jawaharlal Nehru's speech from 1958 at the 29th Meeting of the CBIP.
