Scope and Contents Series one contains correspondence which has been arranged chronologically. Mostly contains letters from colleagues, peers and collaborators as well as letters from administrators at TIFR, ISRO and PRL. Series two is related to Varma's research and scientific career. Sub-series one includes notebooks, PhD thesis and a few research books. Sub-series two contains administrative documents related to Varma's collaboration with other institutions while at PRL for exchange programmes, events etc....

Scope and Contents Series one contains Rajan's writings. It has been divided in to two sub-series. Sub-series one contains Rajan's handwritten autobiography and associated notes and documents. Sub-series two contains handwritten draft of a book on India at 2014.
