This collection consists of the papers of T.S.G. Sastry, a scientist who made significant contributions to the field of space research in India. Sastry was also one of the earliest PhD students at the Physics Research Laboratory in Ahmedabad, working under Vikram Sarabhai.

Consists of a notebook with negatives from electrojet survey, Symposia at Prague, Potsdam, Trivandrum Observatory Magnetometers, Goddard Space Flight Centre, from collaborators such as Cahill and Burrows.

Small booklet of numbered negatives, undated and untitled.

Folder contains a letter (sender details illegible), from Space Science and Technology Centre at Trivandrum dated 19th March, 1975. Also contains photographs of instruments related to the SRC Centaure 1, SRC Centaure 2, SRC Centaure 3, Rubidium Magnetometer, Proton Precession Magnetometer, and of personnel working at the field site in Thumba.

Folder contains prints of data dated between 1959-1966, related to magnetic changes during flights from Thumba, mean fractional energy collision, daily variation of horizontal force at Thumba, current density profiles etc, some of these photographs were sent to Vikram Sarabhai at PRL.

Photographs of instrumentation related to Petrel-159, SRC Centaure 1, SRC Centaure 2, Nike-Apache. Includes photographs of Sastry with his colleagues. Also includes circuit diagrams and a print out of a page of a brochure on Goddard Scientific Satellite Symposium in 1963.

Printed log of rocket launchings from 1964-1980, containing details such as dates, flight numbers, time and experiments. Two copies are enclosed in the folder.

Graphs on the daily variation of horizontal force at Trivandrum, comparison of field changes observed during the course of several flights like the PRL Flight 20.5, 20.7 etc and other flights conducted in Peru and UNH 64-4.
