The first letter from March from Sartiel, Centre National De La Recherche Scientifique (CNES), mentions spare SUD Aviation, 2-watt transmitters and CSF Magnetometers that are available for use, and mentions the delay in processing data from Rahavage Rao. The letter from 28 March from Sastry mentions his plans to visit Prague for the COSPAR Conference and a following URSI Conference at Paris, he also requests for a meeting with Sartiel. The letter from May 10th from Sastry mentions lack of communication from Sartiel about meeting Sastry. The letter at the end of 1970 from Sastry asks Sartiel for confirmation regarding flight plans for payloads on the Fu-198 at Thumba; Sastry also outlines the status of planning for two Nike Apache flights and mentions payloads from Obayashi and Hiro and proton magnetometer and langmuir probes from PRL.
