Scope and Contents
The first letter from September is from Vikram Sarabhai to Hall at Imperial College, London, introducing Sastry to him. In next letter from September, Sastry asks for guidance regarding the possibilities of flying magnetometers on Centaure due to the lack of availability of the Nike-Apache rockets. A handwritten draft of this letter is included with the typed original. The subsequent response from Hall from 21 September, explains problems of flying magnetometers on Centaure and the telemetry problem. A handwritten draft of a response to this letter is included. The 1965 letter from Hall explains advancements in the process of trying to flying a magnetometer on Centaure. In the final letter in 1967, Sastry thanks Hall for arranging a visit to his lab in the United Kingdom and mentions the possibilities of future collaborations at Thumba.
