Ye. Sokolov. V.K. Shumny, Graham Strachan (through Gurdev S. Khush), Shao Qiquan -- regarding their participation as Speakers at the Symposium (July 1988); draft list of Symposia; paper titled 'Impact of Economic Policy on the Development of Genetics in China' by Li Zhensheng of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a letter from Li Zhensheng forwarding the manuscript to Swaminathan (29 September 1988) along with Swaminathan's draft reply (19 October 1988); correspondence with Ken J.
