Material related to the Commemorative forum of the Second 21st Century Earth Awards in Tokyo, Japan. Includes: itinerary; agenda; some handwritten notes regarding Japan's contribution to Agenda 21; correspondence regarding Swaminathan's participation with Heiter Gurgulino de Souza and Max Born of the United Nations University; a review of the event by Takashi Mukaibo; and pamphlets in Japanese and English regarding the event and the essay competition - Global Environmental Problem Proposal Competition - organised alongside it.
