Scope and Contents
From Ken J. Kasha, Program Chairman, to Swaminathan thanking him for his efforts and input in organising the symposium on "National Programs and Policies in Genetics" for the 16th International Congress of Genetics held in Toronto from 20-27 August 1988. The letter informs him of the symposia submitted to the Editor of Genome for publication in January, and requests him to let the editor know of any speakers in the Symposium who would not provide a manuscript for the same. Folder also contains a page of a letter from Kasha that mentions fund-raising for the Symposium, as well as the question of attendance of John Evans and R.S. Rana as speakers or Co-Chairpersons.
