Contains N S Randhawa's letter to Swaminathan informing him of their interest to nominate him for the Third World Prize and asking his consent and materials for the nomination papers; Includes Swaminathan's reply to Randhawa, a draft of which is printed on a IRRI memo on Deepwater Rice Workshop Planning Committe. Also includes the envelope the letter came in.
