Scope and Contents
From S.C. Mathur, Senior Plant Pathologist at CRRI, to Murty in reply to his letter dated 14 February 1978 requesting reports of IAEA-funded projects. Includes the enclosed progress report on a project on induced mutation of rice for disease resistance, along with 5 publications of the project. The publications enclosed are: papers on inducting resistance to blast disease and bacterial blight disease by S. Kaur, S.Y. Padmanabhan, M. Rao and P. Kaur, presented at the Research Coordination meeting at Ames, Iowa in 1975 and published by IAEA in 1977; and paper titled 'The use of nuclear techniques in research related to plant pathology and disease resistance in rice' by Mathur presented at the FAO/IAEA Regional Seminar, Jakarta, 1977.
