Letter to Academy of Development Sciences Regarding Herbal Medicine Training at Kashele, 2-4-1994
Scope and Contents
This letter, dated April 2, 1994, from Mascarenhas,James of the Gnanmata Sadan, Talasari, to Mathpati, S of the Academy of Development Sciences, Kashele, records the Society’s initiative to provide training to 12–15 youth from indigenous community in herbal medicine. Following Palekar’s visit to Talasari, the programme aimed to provide practical and theoretical knowledge of indigenous healing practices between April 25 and May 25, 1994.
