Folder contains the following: letter from Song Jian inviting Swamianthan to become a member of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development and to attend the inaugural meeting in April 1992, a document listing the programme and arrangements, a preliminary list of international members, a letter from Martin Lees as International Co-ordinator of the Council, a letter from Xie Zhenhua of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development. The folder also contains photographs with handwritten annotations at the back of the inaugural meeting showing Swaminathan and other attendees
