Scope and Contents
Consists of newspaper clippings and email updates, publicity material, correspondence and legal documents on Bannerghata National Park. The bulk of newspaper clippings and updates pertain to elephant deaths from poaching and electrocution by fences, as well as the proposed butterfly park; the correspondence and legal documents relate to a proposed firing range in the area. Also contains a brochure on Mitigating Man-Elphant Confrontation in the Bannerghatta National Park Area by the Institute for Natural Resources Conservation, Education, Research and Training.
