Scope and Contents

Consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings and updates, reports and publicity material. Correspondence principally pertains to notification and denotification of the Netravali and Madei sanctuaries and mining in Goa such as Kudremukh, from Kalpavriksh members Neeraj Vagholikar, Ashish Kothari and Pankaj Sekhsaria and Goa Government officials such as the Chief Minister and Forest Department. Also includes maps of mining around Goa's protected areas, the proposed Netravali and Madei sanctuaries, Goa's forests and Bhagwan Mahavir Sanctuary. Includes newspaper clippings and updates on Goa such as the Satpal arboretum, Sacordem poacher, deer safari at Bondla and other proposed government safaris, illegal tree cutting at Canacona, tourism master plan for Goa etc.
