Scope and Contents

The Science Channel was an initiative planned by DECU to broadcast a channel on science as a part of everyday life following the launch of EDUSAT - a satellite dedicated to education. This project was in partnership with Comet Media Foundation, Centre for Environment Educational (CEE), Department of Science and Technology (DST) and more. It was also intended as a follow-up to the Satellite Instructional Television Experiment (SITE). The planning for the channel involved several workshops across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad.
