Scope and Contents

Consists of broadsheets and media clippings. These are news articles pertaining to Rai in the Tribune, the Hindu, the Asian Age, the Deccan Herald, the Statesman by Asha Ramachandran, Anuradha Dutt and staff reporters on the bias, inequalities of wage and working conditions, and harassment faced by women journalists in the workplace; abuse faced by women in the media; the results of 'Status of Women Journalists in India' carried out by the Press Institute of India and commissioned by the NCW - quoting Rai on the lack of complaints regarding lack of access and promotions. It also includes clippings in the newsletter 'People' by the Press Institute of India.
