The accession consists of papers belonging to Chayanika Shah. Chayanika Shah is an activist, queer feminist, writer and educator. Shah has been involved in India's women's rights movement since the 1970s. Shah works at the intersection of feminism, science, reproductive rights, sexuality, and gender. The papers contain Shah's PhD thesis from IIT Bombay, documents related to her teaching career in Physics, notes and writings related to her foray into the women's rights movement, and writings, publicity, and educational material primarily about women's rights over their bodies and sexuality.
