It includes notes on the Todas and the Badagas, especially in relation to agriculture, resource use and livestock. It also has information on plantations in the Nilgiris (Billigiri, Sigur and personal notes), interviews of an elephant trainer from Abhayaranyam, a fisheries worker at Avalanche, and a forest watcher at Korakunda.
