The collection was packed by Sravya Darbhamulla at Madhav Gadgil's residence in Pune. It was received by Ravi at the Archives at NCBS on 29 April 2025.

Retention Rule

The material documents the history of ecology and environmental policy in India. It could be of relevance to those interested in the intersection of history and environmental sciences. The Archives has offered to preserve and catalogue these materials. The donor and the Archives have agreed that the Archives will have full authority in handling the material in the future.
