The collection consists of papers belonging to V Subrahmanyan. V Subrahmanya was the first director of Central Food Technological Institute in Mysore. He was involved in projects related to wastewater treatment, food science and technology in pre and post-independent India.

The collection was picked up by Deepika S at CFTRI, Mysore on 11 April 2024 and was brought to the Archives on 12 April 2024. It contains a framed certificate, framed photographs, photo albums, research reprints, and correspondence.

The collection is valuable in understanding administrative work and collaborations within a scientific institution, and the progress of science and technology in Karnataka after World War 2.
