The papers will be transferred to the Usha Rai Papers. The material will be divided into three series - series one will consist of articles by Rai; the second series will consist of articles on or about Rai; and the third will consist of publications related to human development projects and research references for the same.

The Usha Rai papers were received by Ravi Boyapati on 10 October 2023. It was packed and sent from Rai's residence in New Delhi.

Retention Rule

The Usha Rai papers fall under the scope of the Archives at NCBS as they pertain to the man-wildlife interface in the ecological and development spheres. The Archives shall have full authority in handling the material in the future.
