Student handbooks gives a peek into the life a student might lead on campus and gives an overview of the facilities open to students. They also contain the different rules and regulations to be followed by students of NCBS. Segments such as Honour code, programmes of study, dates for standard tenures of academic programmes, General policies and requirements, General Information, Campus and Community Ethics, Guidelines for Technical and Research Services Administrative Services, Hostel Stay, use of NCBS Library, Sports complex, Services, Research Compliance and related NCBS committees also discussed. A section of the handbook is dedicated to rules regarding Computer use. The student handbooks are catalogued from 2000 (when they were first published) to 2017.
